PARKING PERMITS- A.K.A. BEACH STICKERS

Barnstable has several large public beaches which will not require a parking permit or fee Memorial Day weekend: Veterans, Kalmus, Sea Street – Keyes, Craigville, and Hathaway’s Pond.
RESIDENT Parking Permits ARE still required for Resident Beaches and will be enforced.
Personal Responsibility Rules: Safety First, Barnstable!
Keep your distance, at least 6 ft apart when moving and 12 ft between
seated groups. Face coverings required if you cannot keep a 6ft distance
No large gatherings – groups < 10, please. Stay home if you are not feeing well.
Practice good hygiene – wash your hands. No ball games (bocce, volleyball or other close contact sports)
Lifeguards, bathhouses and gate attendants will not be available Memorial Day weekend.

2019 Beach Parking Permits Walk-up Sales at HYCC
The Barnstable Recreation Division’s 2019 Beach Parking Permits walk-up sales are underway at the Hyannis Youth & Community Center, 141 Bassett Lane, Hyannis. Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 9:00 AM-4:00 PM and Sundays & Holidays 9:00 AM-Noon. The Resident/Taxpayer Sticker is $45. Show your valid car registration. Leased vehicles must have valid lease agreement. Resident Parking Permits are required January 1st to December 31st. More information is available on the Town website or by calling Patti Machado, Recreation Director 508-790-6345. For those of you that supplied Barnstable Recreation with your e-mail address, you should be receiving your application via e-mail. If you do not receive it, or did not supply an e-mail address, applications may be downloaded HERE.
