The following water quality updates have been issued for Thursday, July 13, 2023:

  • A Public Health Advisory will be posted at Long Pond, Marstons Mills within 24 hours due to cyanobacteria bloom being present
  • A Public Health Advisory will be posted at Lovells Pond, Cotuit within 24 hours due to cyanobacteria bloom being present
  • A Pet Advisory will be posted at Parker Pond, Osterville within 24 hours due to increasing cyanobacteria biomass
  • Pet Advisory postings remain at Long Pond, Centerville and Schoolhouse Pond, Hyannis

Attention Transfer Station Users

Transfer Station Closed Monday June 19, 2023

The Town of Barnstable Department of Public Works Solid Waste Division will be closed Monday June 19, 2023 in observance of Juneteenth Independence Day.  Trash and recycling services will resume on a normal schedule Tuesday June 20, 2023. For questions, call 508-420-2258.
