Get ready! The Cahoon Museum Art Auction will take place online beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Bidding continues through Saturday, July 10 at 8 p.m. The Auction features over 125 artworks by talented local and regional artists. Art is available at all price points, and your participation helps to support the Museum’s exhibitions and educational programs.

Watch Plein AirArtists at Work As part of the Art Auction, many of the region’s most talented plein air artists will be setting up their easels in Cotuit to capture the scenic seaside landscape. Look for them June 26 through July 6. The paintings produced will be available in the online auction.

Virtual Program – Art Collecting: Learn From the Experts
On June 30 at 7 pm, curator and art advisor Mallory Ruymann will join art advisor Paul Kotakis and artists Andrew Fish and Azita Moradkhani for a discussion about contemporary art collecting practices. The program will take place on Zoom. Learn More and Register Here

On View Now Ethan Murrow: The Greenhouse June 16 – October 3 Ethan Murrow’s latest installation is a 75-foot panoramic wall drawing inspired by old growth forests that once existed on Cape Cod. This installation encourages discussion, and optimism, about how human beings can preserve and restore natural habitats and coexist in balance with nature.
 
Duncan Johnson: Under Construction June 9 – September 19 This exhibition presents a selection of meticulously crafted wall assemblages by Vermont artist Duncan Johnson. The colorful artworks are created with reclaimed wood gathered from landfills and encompass aspects of sculpture, drawing, and painting.
