During the Festival, there will be a Community Tent Sale. The Museum Shop will be selling some inventory at signifcant discounted prices, along with items donated by members and the community. If you are cleaning out your closets, (gently used items in all sizes, please provide hangers) or household items and small furniture (in excellent condition) and find you have items you just dont use or need anymore, consider donating them to the HSSC Tent Sale and make them “history” DROP OFF: Drop off donations at the HSSC office, 1148 Main St., Cotuit, October 1 – 5 from 12 noon to 4 PM
Any items not sold the day of the tent sale will be donated to the Epilepsy Foundation. If you would like your items back, you must pick them up after 3pm Saturday October 6.
PIES, PIES, PIES!
We will be holding our “Pies For Programs” fundraiser again. Delicious homemade pies baked by our local pie mavens will be for sale .
Buy them by the slice to eat right away and enjoy, or whole to take home! Nothing beats a good piece of pie! By the slice: $5 Whole pies $20.
DONUTS, CIDER AND COFFEE
Warm, scrumptious cider donuts from Cape Cod Donuts, fresh apple cider and coffee will be available. Donations appreciated!
OPEN HEARTH COOKING DEMO
Come see Joan and her crew as they prepare a meal over the hearth in the Homestead. You can participate in the workshop or just observe how cooking was done in yesteryear.
