Reminder: Vessel Storage Deadline Approaches

The Harbormaster’s office reminds residents that no vessel shall be stored or placed on any Town property between November 15 and April 15 without written permission from the Harbormaster. Any vessel placed or remaining between those dates shall be considered abandoned property and will be removed by the Town. The Town of Barnstable shall not be responsible for damage to or theft neither of any vessel placed nor for loss of property considered abandoned under this Town’s regulation. Questions? Attention Bourne Bridge Users

Bourne Bridge repair work:

Inspection and maintenance work will be performed on the Bourne Bridge on Oct. 25, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

During the scheduled work hours, northbound traffic heading off Cape Cod will be reduced to one lane of travel to safely accommodate the work zones.  Both southbound lanes on the bridge will remain open during this period.

No wide loads will be permitted to cross the bridge while the lane restrictions are in place.

Work schedule is weather permitting.
