Director of DPW, Dan Santos, will be on hand to give an overview of the plans and answer questions on the reconstruction of Main Street, Cotuit from Ocean View Avenue to Vineyard Road
Roadwork is scheduled to commence Fall of 2014.
On May 30th The Old Shore became a One-Way from Putnam Avenue to Main Street.
Remember driving so fast that your head almost hit the car roof because of the big hump at the top of the hill? The hump is long gone but today it is a pleasure to leisurely drive down to the shore and view Cotuit’s inner harbor.
Proceed with caution as this significant change will take some getting used to!
The DPW is planning the following pavement improvement projects under the Roads Program to be completed by June 13, 2014. Due to the nature of the work involved and materials being applied, activities will be highly weather dependant. Holiday work restrictions will be in place for Memorial Day weekend:
Pavement Overlay:
Clamshell Cove Road
Clamshell Point Lane
Cotuit Cove Road
Crockers Neck Road (milling & paving)
Chipseal Application:
Peachtree Road
Ralyn Road
Screecham Way
