Cotuit-Santuit Civic Association Meeting Tonight

Please join the Cotuit-Santuit Civic Association at Freedom Hall, Tuesday, October 18, at 7:30 p.m. for a meeting that will feature a discussion by the Conservation Law Foundation (CLF). Chris Kilian, Vice President of Strategic Litigation, will offer a comprehensive update on the organization’s work to preserve and restore Cape Cod’s waters. Mr. Kilian’s presentation will be directly followed by a Q&A.

For more than fifty years, CLF has protected New England’s environment for the benefit of all people – using a combination of the law, science and the markets to preserve our natural resources, build healthy communities, and sustain a vibrant economy. Learn more about CLF HERE

Town of Barnstable Community Forum
Housing Production Plan Progress Update

The Town of Barnstable is currently in the process of updating our Housing Production Plan (HPP). An HPP is a community’s proactive strategy to meet their housing needs. This plan will consider best practices for promoting diverse housing options that align with the community’s vision and goals. The Town is working with our consultants at JM Goldson to offer multiple opportunities for Barnstable community members to get involved and help shape the plan. The project team hosted focus groups and interviews this summer, have just launched a community survey (click here to take the survey), and are hosting our first Public Forum on Wednesday, September 21st at 6:00 PM. This forum will be hosted in person at the Barnstable Adult Community Center, 825 Falmouth Road, Hyannis as well as available virtually through a Zoom webinar. This event is free and open to the public, though registration for the virtual option is required. Register HERE
