Housing Production Plan Progress Update

The Town of Barnstable is currently in the process of updating our Housing Production Plan (HPP). An HPP is a community’s proactive strategy to meet their housing needs. This plan will consider best practices for promoting diverse housing options that align with the community’s vision and goals. The Town is working with our consultants at JM Goldson to offer multiple opportunities for Barnstable community members to get involved and help shape the plan. The project team hosted focus groups and interviews this summer, have just launched a community survey (click here to take the survey), and are hosting our first Public Forum on Wednesday, September 21^st at 6:00 PM. This forum will be hosted in person at the Barnstable Adult Community Center, 825 Falmouth Road, Hyannis as well as available virtually through a Zoom webinar. This event is free and open to the public, though registration for the virtual option is required. Register HERE
