…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM TUESDAY TO 5 AM WEDNESDAY…

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4
inches expected.

* WHERE…Southern Bristol MA, Southern Plymouth MA, Barnstable MA, Dukes MA and Nantucket MA Counties

* WHEN…From 10 PM Tuesday to 5 AM  Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Snow covered and slippery roads are expected, but snow moves out prior to morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS….Still some uncertainty about the storm track. Rain may mix in with snow on the Outer Cape and Nantucket, especially during precipitation onset but should change over to snow. Snow rates could exceed one inch per hour with reduced visibility for a brief time overnight.

Re: NOTIFICATION OF FREE CASH APPROVAL – Cotuit Fire

Based upon the un-audited balance sheet submitted, I hereby certify that the amount of available funds or “free cash” as of July 1, 2019 for the Utilities District of Cotuit Fire is:

General Fund $728,349.00

This certification is in accordance with the provisions of G. L. Chapter 59, §23, as amended.

Certification letters are emailed to the prudential committee and treasurer immediately upon approval, provided an email address is reported in DLS’ Local Officials Directory.

Winter Party: Winter Wonders

Friday, December 13, 5:00pm – 7:00pm

Join Cotuit’s own Art Museum for their 2nd annual Winter Wonders party. The event includes: Cahoon in Bloom, a spectacular display of floral arrangements by designers from the Osterville Garden Club; a silent auction of works by Howard Bonington, Hilary Hutchison,  Marion Waldron Nicastro,  Carol Jean-O’Toole, Gary Oro, and David Sigel; a signature raffle; a newly stocked Museum Shop; refreshments, music and fun activities for families. Enjoy time in the Museum galleries and view the current art exhibitions, Soo Sunny Park: Boundary Conditions and Gretchen Romey-Tanzer: Inspirations.
