Update 10/27/20

Pet Advisories have been lifted for Lovell’s Pond, Cotuit & Parker Pond, Osterville.

Shubael Pond, Marstons Mills has been downgraded to a Pet Advisory.

The North East shore of Mystic Lake, Marstons Mills still has a small amount of cyanobacteria scum which should be avoided by dogs.

Hinckley Pond, Barnstable remains at Pet Advisory level.

Update 10/21/20

 North East Mystic Lake is having a low level bloom – shore line scum should be avoided by pets and curious children.

Lovell’s Pond, Cotuit has been downgraded to a Pet Advisory.

Keyes Beach, Hyannis continues to be closed due to bacteria levels above State standards.

The beach has been resampled.

No Bottom Pond *, Cotuit is experiencing a cyanobacteria bloom- and the visibility is <4 ft. therefore swimming is not recommended for abutters and dogs should be kept out of the water. * There is no public access to this pond.

The Town of Barnstable shares data with Association to Preserve Cape Cod (APCC), which is updated for Barnstable on Thursday afternoons.
